Enrollment and deposit
A deposit reserves your seat in any in-person course ($500 for PMU courses, $200 for one-day courses) and is applied to your tuition. Deposits, full tuition and remaining balances can be paid securely online. The remaining balance is due before your class begins, or can be financed through Cherry.
Cancellations and refunds
- Enrollment cancellations must be made in writing to the Academy by email.
- If a cancellation request is received at least 14 days before the scheduled start date, the Academy will refund the full tuition minus the deposit.
- If a cancellation request is received less than 14 days before the scheduled start date, the Academy will retain 50% of the tuition and refund the remaining 50%.
- No refund will be provided if the cancellation request is received after the course has started.
- If a student is dismissed from the course due to a violation of Academy policies, no refund will be provided.
Online courses
Because access is delivered digitally, online course purchases are non-refundable once course access has been sent.
Free retake
Graduates of an in-person course may retake the same course once at no tuition cost within 12 months of their original class, based on seat availability.
Requirements for PMU courses
Students must be 18 or older. Before live model work, students must hold a Bloodborne Pathogens certificate and be registered as a Body Art Practitioner with their county health department. We help every student through these steps after enrollment.
Certificates
Students who complete a course receive a certificate of completion from Beauty Expert Studio. A certificate of completion is not a government license. Students are responsible for following the licensing and permit rules where they plan to work.
